Dr. Hedwig Hirschmann Triantaphyllou

Former Professor of Nematology at North Carolina State University, Dr. Hedwig Hirschmann Triantaphyllou, 94, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 22, 2021 at Morningside Assisted Living in Raleigh, NC.

Born on January 16, 1927 in Germany; she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Ferdinandine Hirschmann, wife of the late Dr. Anastasios C. "Tasso" Triantaphyllou and mother of Chris Triantaphyllou, of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Private Inurnment will take place at Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum, beside her late husband.
