

Ivy Raye Crain Parrish, 63, passed away after a lengthy battle on June 4, 2019 at Transitions LifeCare Hospice Home in Raleigh. Born in Hawaii on July 26, 1955; she was the daughter of the late Ann Harrill Crain and Louis Victor Crain.
Raised in Raleigh, Ivy graduated from Enloe High School and went straight to work at her family's business- Allied Fence Company. Always putting her family first; Ivy is survived by her son: John "Radar" Toomey, III and his wife Bridgett, of Apex; by her cherished grandson, Mason; siblings: Tony and Kelly Crain, of Raleigh, Debbie Phelps, of Clayton and Louann Frye, of Wake Forest; nieces and nephews: Taylor and Chase Crain, Brittany Conrad and James and Sadie Frye; and by other family and friends.
Ivy will be remembered for her love of family, playing the slot machines, taking Mason to Dave & Busters, her Walgreen Brand Jelly Beans and watching her “stories”, most noted – General Hospital.
Graveside Services will be held Sunday, June 9th at 2 pm at Raleigh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to your charity of choice in her memory.
