She is preceded in death by her son Ricky Hemric.
Survivors include her husband Howard Hemric of Sneads Ferry, son Danny Hemric of Sanford, daughter Frankie Carrigan of Raleigh, and brother Jack Cook of Elkin.
Visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Jacksonville today, Jan. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, Jan 21 at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27612. The family will receive friends 10-11 am prior to the service.
