Sissy and I loved Judy. She was always so happy to see us at Serenity Point. She was an excellent cook, we can attest to that! We all had wonderful get togethers with friends at Topsail Beach. She will be missed 💖

John, my heartfelt condolences for you and family on the passing of your dear wife, Judy. 



The best adjective to describe Judy is sparkling. I worked with her for over ten years at the journal, Environmental Health Perspectives. During that time, there was not a single day that I didn’t go into her office and feel anything but joy. She was a wonderfully positive person and devoted to her husband, John. I, as well as anyone who knew her, feels a great sense of loss.

I worked with Judy when she was at EPA starting in the 70s.  In addition to her sense of humor, she was great at her job and we could always count on her.  In the 80's, John and Judy, Vicki and me and other friends spent a week at the beach for a number of summers, and of course it was a blast. We miss those days and are so glad to have known her and very sad for her condition and passing.  John has been a rock and we wish the best for him and the rest of her family.

We have so many fun memories of Judy from our Topsail vacations and are so thankful that you both became such a special part of our July 4th celebrations and our family!  Judy was an excellent cook and whatever she brought to share was always a favorite! Sending our love and hugs, we will sure miss her 💕 Sue, Kevin, Hannah and Sammie Hoefs 

Judy was and remains one of my favorite people in life. She was a wonderful mentor to me and a great office mate at the beginning of my career with EHP. From the very first day we met, we had an instant rapport that never diminished. I can still vividly remember the beautiful flowers she would bring from her garden to brighten up our office. They were a warm, welcome presence, just like Judy.
Thanks for picking them for us John. My sincerest condolences to you, Jason, and the rest of your family.

I am so sorry to learn about the loss of our dear Judy.  John, Judy, my husband Bob, and I all met when we worked together at EPA, and John and Judy were among our favorite co-workers and friends. One of my fondest memories of Judy is going on a group trip with others from EPA to the beach. Judy was always so much fun to be with, especially at the beach, and I remember her keeping us smiling and laughing as we sat on the beach and watched the waves lashing the shore. I know she appreciated the love of John, Jason and the rest of her family over many, many years. We will fondly remember her always.

Judy was, without any doubt, one of my favorite colleagues at EHP.  Her sass, humor, and warmth made every day I shared with her a gift. She will be greatly missed by me, and all who were lucky enough to know her well. 

John and Judy were two of my favorite EPA co-workers during the time I was at EPA and John and I carpooled together for a time.  Judy was always "up" and cheerful and caring--a wonderful person who I recall fondly even 40 years later.  They were supportive of me during some difficult times and I was very happy that they found each other and had such and long and loving marriage.  

Judy was a such a fun loving person, who loved her family and friends fiercely, Judy and John were our neighbors in Topsail Beach, and Ted and I have many memories spanning the years: from small get togethers or big parties, to long talks on the beach while watching the waves roll in. Judy was also an excellent cook; we loved it when we had our beach potlucks, and Judy would bring a specialty dish! Judy Crenshaw, you will certainly be missed. 

Judy was a fun loving unique person.  We worked together at NIEHS for several years and our friendship was both professional and personal.  A loyal wife, mother, sister, and friend.  She was a classy lady in every sense of the word and will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.  Rest in peace sweet lady!
