She worked as a school psychologist and raised her children in Athens and Columbus, Ohio. After moving to North Carolina, Kathy enjoyed classes and trips through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at NC State University. During the NCSU women’s basketball season, she could be found cheering courtside. She also enjoyed countless performances of the NC Symphony and took in activities and happenings all over Raleigh.
Kathy is survived by Buzz Clift, her devoted husband of 59 years. Kathy is also survived by her children – Megan, Charles, John, and Carolyn – as well as her grandchildren, Flora and Oliver.
The family will hold a private celebration of life and encourages all who knew Kathy to remember good times and raise a glass in her honor.
