Kattie Pearl Thomas, 76, born in Johnston County, NC on December 25, 1939. Kattie worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 23 years. She was a member of NALC, National Association of Letter Carriers and she worked hard her entire life. In 1986 she married Mario De Cristoforo in Phoenix, Arizona.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mario L. De Cristoforo, sister, Mozell W. Johnson, nieces; Willie Ann Sanders, Valeria Denson, and Shelia Lloyd.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 7501 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh. The family will receive guests at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave. one hour prior to the service.
