

Kevin David Robinson, 55, passed away on Jan. 20, 2016 after complications from brain surgery. Kevin was born in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada on March 16, 1960 to Patricia and Ronald Robinson. While most of his family was separated by hundreds of miles in another country, Kevin always took time to reach out to his family by phone and remained close with his two sons in Raleigh.
Kevin is survived by the mother to his children, Tracy Robinson; sister Keitha Black, brothers Doug Robinson and Brad Robinson; two children Scott Robinson (28) and Nick Robinson (26); grandchildren Emily Robinson-Salvador (10) and Caitlyn Robinson-Salvador (8); nephews Matthew Robinson (31), Kyle Robinson (28) and Ian Robinson (25).
As a programmer at LabCorp, Kevin spent more than a decade honing his craft in a leadership role at the company. During his time off, Kevin enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, SyFy channel and building computers while spending time with his Dachsund, Boston, and cat, Emma, with a cold A&W root beer. He enjoyed going out to dinner with his sons and playing with his granddaughters.
Services will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612. The family will receive visitors for a wake, which is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial services are set for Saturday, Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the National Brain Tumor Society or the SPCA of Wake County.
