Laura Megan Galloway

Laura Megan Galloway, formerly of Tampa, Florida, died Wednesday, March 15, 2022. Laura was preceded in death by her father, Ralph, founder of Galloway’s Contemporary Furniture and Interior Design a former prominent South Tampa furniture company, her mother, Reva, and her brother, John.

Laura and her brother helped run the family-owned furniture store for over 40 years. She was a lifelong admirer of all things Tampa-related, a lover of matinee movies, enjoyed watching her grandchildren play baseball, volleyball, softball and a devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children Laurie Galloway Sheldon and Peter Jamison Petrides, as well as her grandchildren: Savannah Lauren Sheldon, Sawyer Oliver Sheldon, Hannah Irene Petrides, and Claire Emily Petrides.
