Lawrence Allan Dailey

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Dailey; two children, Aubre (Josh) Vaughn and Addison Dailey; grandchildren, Kylee and Gavin Vaughn; sisters, Denise Lovold and Jennifer Robinson; nephew and nieces, Michael, Lindsay, and Allison Garkovich, and Laura and Rebecca Robinson, and two foster children, Ronnie Marshall and Sean Graham. Larry also leaves behind many close friends

Born November 9th,1948, in Warren, Ohio; Larry was a devoted family man and a foster parent for the Methodist Home for Children for more than twenty years. He felt an obligation to care for and serve others within the community. He would often practice random acts of kindness, and found far more happiness in giving than receiving. Other than his selfless and giving nature, Larry lived his life by a few other guiding principles. He strongly believed in Karma, and the golden rule. Most of all he highly valued his family, and showed his love through words, practical jokes, deeds, and by example.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 at 2:30PM in the Mausoleum Chapel at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7510 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27612, with Tom Jewell and Joanne VerBurg officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 6-8PM at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27612.
