

Malvin Lee Glover of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 89 at Brighton Gardens of Raleigh. He was born on November 1, 1933 in Nash County, North Carolina. He later moved to Raleigh where he grew up and later raised his family.
Malvin graduated from Broughton High School in 1953 in Raleigh, North Carolina and later graduated from King's College. From 1954 to 1956 he served in the US Army Airborne Division – Screaming Eagles (Parachutist). After active duty he served 8 years in the reserves.
Malvin worked with the Pillsbury Company as a Salesman. After retirement from Pillsbury he worked with Leith Mercedes. He was actively involved in Emmanuel Baptist Church in Raleigh NC until recent years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Glover; brother, Dallas Glover; sister, Betty Jo Land; parents, Robert and Alice Glover; Greg’s mother Shirley Glover.
He is survived by his son Greg, his wife Robin Glover and their children; Judy's daughters, Lori and husband Harold Darner, and their children and grandchildren; Tina and husband Charles Strickland, and their children and grandchildren. He was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, and brother.
The family would like to thank Brighton Gardens of Raleigh and Transitions Life Care of Raleigh for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Inurnment followed graveside with the family.
