Man Chi Leung

On October 28, 1964, he was born as the youngest of five children to He Leung and Chung Choi Law in Hong Kong. Man Chi attended the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he achieved both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Psychology.

After their wedding in 1988, he and his wife, Anita Ho, moved to Chapel Hill, NC, where he pursued a PhD in Psychology at the University of North Carolina and graduated in 1993. While living in Chapel Hill, they met several fellow Hong Kong international students who would go on to become lifelong friends.

Following several years working at the Center for Developmental Science and a second master’s degree in computer science, he transitioned into a career in computer programming, teaching for 22 years at Wake Technical Community College.

Man Chi spent his time running, playing the piano, and adding to his vast LEGO collection. On the weekends, he and his wife loved going for walks, trying new restaurants, and checking all their favorite grocery stores for the best deals. He enjoyed nights spent playing games and sharing good food with friends.

Man Chi was a gentle soul who cared deeply for his family, friends, and students. He will always be remembered. Man Chi is dearly missed by his wife, Anita; child, Michelle; mother, Chung Choi Law; siblings, Lung Leung, Jenny Fu, and Mie Mei Leung; and many close friends.

A memorial service for Man Chi will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:00 in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Craig Gaither.

梁文智，居於北卡羅來納州莫里斯維爾鎮，於2024年3月22日星期五因久病辭世，享年59歲。

1964年10月28日，梁文智出生在香港，父母為梁喜與羅仲彩，他是五个孩子中排行最小的。 梁文智畢業於香港中文大學，並取得心理學學士和碩士學位。

1988年結婚後，他和妻子何麗嬋移居至北卡羅來納州的教堂山鎮，並於1993年取得北卡羅來納大學的心理學博士學位。 在教堂山鎮生活期間，他們認識了幾位也是從香港來的留學生，且成了终身密友。

在發展科學中心工作了數年， 梁文智再取得計算機科學碩士學位， 然後開始了計算機编程領域的教學生涯，之後他在威克縣技術社區大學任教長達22年之久。

梁文智喜歡跑步、彈鋼琴，和增添他本已非常龐大的樂高收藏品。 在周末，他和妻子喜歡散步、嘗試新的餐廳，也會尋找所有喜愛雜貨店的最優惠貨品。 閒來文智愛與朋友們玩玩麻將及分享美食。

梁文智是個性情温柔的人，深切關心他的家人、朋友和學生。 大家將銘記他於心中。他的妻子何麗嬋、女兒梁明雪、母親羅仲彩、兄弟姐妹（梁龍、梁珍妮、梁咪媚）與及一眾好友， 都會非常懇切地思念他。

梁文智的追悼會將於2024年4月13日星期六上午11時在米切爾葬禮大禮堂舉行。 主持人將是克雷格·蓋瑟牧师。
