Margaret "Becky" Becton Crumpler

March 25, 1967 - March 28, 2017

Becky Crumpler died on March 28, 2017 at her home in Raleigh. Born at Rex Hospital on March 25, 1967, to Lynette and Burks Crumpler, she attended Wiley Elementary School, Daniels Middle School, Needham B. Broughton High School, and graduated from North Carolina State University in 1989. She was Senior Director of Business Development for MDS Pharma Services in Wilmington, NC before moving back to Raleigh in 2012.

She is survived by her mother, Lynette Parker and her stepfather, John Hill Parker; her father, Leonard Burks Crumpler, Sr. and stepmother, Joanne Crumpler; her brother, Leonard Burks Crumpler, Jr. (Muzzy); nephews, Ward and Webb Crumpler; stepbrothers, Alex and Adam Burr; and stepsisters, Michelle James and Lindsey Parker Bogle (John); aunts, Ann Morris Morgan and Carol Crumpler Verone (Richard). She was pre-deceased by her grandparents, Alma Becton and Haskill J. Morris; Margaret Burks and Leonard H. Crumpler; and her stepsister, Elizabeth Shelby Parker.

Becky possessed a kind and gentle spirit with quick wit and intelligence. She loved live music, animals of all kinds, and the life force of the natural world.

She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery on Friday, April 7 at 11 A.M. The family will greet friends afterward.
