Marie Allison Barnett

Born July 7th, 1920 near Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her parents John Allison, Lillie Mae Ingram, & her husband Philip L. ”Jack” Barnett, as well as her brothers & sisters all from Georgia.

Marie Barnett graduated from Martha Berry High School, & Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse. In Raleigh, she was employed by REX Hospital & then Wake Medical Center until she retired in 1978.

She is survived by 4 children: Linda Barnett, Richard Barnett, Michael Barnett, Robert Barnett, daughter in law Patti Thomas Barnett, & granddaughter, Allison June Thomas-Barnett all of Raleigh, NC.

Services will be held at The Historic Oakwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Raleigh, NC on Friday, November 29th at 3:30 P.M. There will be a viewing and visitation with the family at 2:30 P.M. before the service in The Historic Oakwood Cemetery Mausoleum.
