Mae Mae was born in Louisiana where she lived a farm life and later met her loving husband. She lived a life full of laughter, never ran out of vivid stories to tell, and found friends wherever she traveled. She moved to North Carolina in 1964, where her husband was a professor in the Department of Adult and Community College Education at North Carolina State University. While Mae Mae lived most of her life in North Carolina, she never lost touch with her Louisiana roots.
Mae Mae will be remembered for her faith, sense of service to others, dedication to family and friends, love of the NCSU Wolfpack, and joy of tending to her yard.
