Michael Dan Gardner

Michael was a Certified Public accountant, and he loved his work. He had a very dry sense of humor and was always a great provider to his family. He was a loving husband, father and most recently, grandfather to his first granddaughter, Moxie, his pride and joy. He also dedicated a lot of his time to North Haven Church, where he was a devoted member.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Beverly Johnson Gardner; son, Stephen Michael Gardner and his wife, Amanda; granddaughter, Moxie Leigh Gardner; sister, Judy Cox and her husband, Jimmy; brother, Kim Gardner and his wife, Geri; and his nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 3:00pm, with a visitation being held from 2:00-3:00pm, at North Haven Church, 6620 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC. Interment will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2:00pm at White Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 1459 White Memorial Church Rd, Willow Springs, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s memory to the North Haven Church Building Fund.
