

Michael Emory Mazarick, 74, passed away on March 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 18, 1952, Michael lived a life centered on family, music, and the connections he built with those around him.
Michael was married to his wife, MaryLee Mazarick, for 53 years. He was a proud and loving father to Michael Mazarick (wife Leigh Fine), Megan Mazarick (husband Les Rivera), and Melanie Mazarick Hooko (husband Jason Hooko). He was also a cherished grandfather to Mason, Piper, and Emily Hooko; Michael and Elizabeth Mazarick; and Maz Rivera. He is also survived by his mother, Wilma Mazarick; his siblings, Phil Mazarick, Karen Mantzouris, and Maryann Stoner; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Mazarick.
Michael worked for years at Northern Telecom. Outside of his career, he was a talented local musician who played both the saxophone and keyboards. Music was a central part of his life, and he loved sharing it with others, creating lasting memories through his performances and passion.
Michael will be remembered for his warmth, his sense of humor, and the deep love he had for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of music, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew him.
