Mike has been a great friend for over 50 years. He always told it like it was. We always made each other laugh. I will miss him terribly.


Brad & Mike went to KY Wesleyan together, were in fraternity together, both from Pittsburgh, PA.  
We have many fond memories and stories of Mike, Aka Sarge!
We will miss him, his humor & kindness.

Michael was always one of the most forthright and honest people I knew. His dry sense of humor always made me chuckle and his advice helped me more than he ever knew. He will be greatly missed. 

Best barbecued ribs I’ve ever had! Those succulent babies are seared in my brain. I didn’t know Michael that well although Kathy is a lifelong friend from my first teaching job in Zanesville. From the few times we were together, I knew what clever Kathy loved about him and how great a match they were together. I so enjoyed his wit, sense of humor, and banter on FB. What a good dog dad he was! 

We knew and loved both of you before you knew each other. So glad the introduction led to a life together full of love, great stories and many beloved dogs and to our getting a new member of the family. We hope your love and those many stories will give you some comfort until you can be together again.  Love you, - Aaron and Betsy

I am so terribly sorry. I am trying to process this still. I can't imagine what you're going through but can only send you strength, peace, and reassurance that Michael is still very much with you on another level. We will speak soon so until then, all my love and a reminder to just breathe.

I worked with Mikey for years at GE/Genworth and have many funny memories.  I just learned of his passing and my condolences for all family members.  Mikey was a really good guy.

Michael was my cousin.  It was always a treat to go to "Michael and Jackie's house" when I was young.  They, of course, had a DOG!  Seems like yesterday when we were all running around the backyard as kids.   In a houseful of cousins, Michael was the one with the beautiful red hair...My condolences to my aunt Lois and to the rest of Michael's present family and friends.  You are in my prayers.

Mike and I were fraternity brothers at 
Kentucky Wesleyan. He helped guide me when I was pledging and heavily involved in Sigma Alpha Mu. He was a fierce competitor in intramural sports. I looked up to him and still do.

From the first full day of college until his passing Mike and I were together one way or another. We started as roommates later fraternity brothers and friends. For anyone seeing this from Wesleyan you know the stories. 
It was an honor to have been his friend. 
To his wife Kathy know he loved you. 
For family and friends know time is your ally. 
We have our memories. Mine will make me smile. 

Hold your memories close. Cherish friendships, good times, and be glad your lives crossed paths! Never a shortage of Mikey and Kathy stories from over the years!❤️❤️Sympathies to those he leaves behind. He will be missed.

Kathy, I am so sorry.  Michael was way to young to leave us. Please take care of yourself.  I am here whenever you feel like talking. I love you.
