

Millie will be forever remembered by her daughter, Lynn, her husband, Bruce, as well as her precious granddaughter, Christy, and great-grandson, Jasper-Jax.
She so loved her sisters, Marian Reddick, New Windsor, IL and Carole Stewart, Cleveland, IL. Millie was predeceased by her parents, William Byron Kave and Faye Evangaline (Burrell) Kave, sisters Orriel Van Hollebeke and Colleen Watkins, brothers, Grady Kave and Sheldon Kave, and one son, Errett Lewis “Jasper” Foutch.
A funeral service in memory of Millie will be held on Saturday, May 30 at 11:15am at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh with Rev. Jeff Burnell officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30am – 11:00am for those wishing to share their fondest memories. A reception will follow the services and will be held at 1:00pm at Olive Garden, 107 Grand Hill Pl, Holly Springs.
Millie graduated from United Township High School, East Moline, IL and served as a volunteer with many organizations including Bethesda Lutheran Communities, Beaver Dam Community Hospital and was a lifetime member of Ladies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1163, Beaver Dam, WI. She received multiple pins for Red Cross blood donations. She retired from Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL as an accountant for the U.S. Government.
Millie touched the lives of many people with her infectious joy for life and positive attitude. She played the organ, loved being with her friends whether it was playing bingo or reminiscing about the good old days.
Being called Grams and Nana were the highlight of her life as she loved them both dearly. Her legacy will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the Millie Foutch Memorial Fund, Wells Fargo Bank, NA, 5209 Sunset Lake Rd., Holly Springs, NC 27540, Attn: Tim Clarey. Funds will be applied to some of Millie's most cherished organizations.
