Nell Elizabeth Harrison, 103, of Raleigh died Friday at her son’s home in Creedmoor. Nell was born in Williamston, NC, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Val Teel. Nell resided in Raleigh since 1950, mainly in the North Hills neighborhood. She was a long time member of Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Harrison in 1989, and two sisters and one brother.
Surviving are her son, Bobby Harrison of Creedmoor - formerly of Las Vegas; a sister, Doris Bullock of Tarboro; nieces, Paula Hammac of Wilmington, NC, Mary Ross Blackman of Charleston, SC, and Martha Hardesty of Winston–Salem; and a nephew, Clifton Coltrain of Wilson.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 6-8pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 Saint Mary’s St. in Raleigh.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11am at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave.
