Patricia Elizabeth Morris

Patricia Elizabeth Morris, 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Patricia was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 22, 1928, a daughter of the late Emma (Grishkot) & Patrick Burke. She was predeceased in death by her older sister Alice Mary Cronin and her brother Arthur Burke.

She was a Graduate of St. Benedicts Academy in Pittsburgh in 1947. She worked as a Telephone Operator for Bell of Pennsylvania.

She married the love of her life, Edward J. Morris on July 30, 1949 and the couple would have celebrated their 60th anniversary on July 2009, but Edward passed away on May 24, 2009. She was a devoted and wonderful wife, and loving Mother to four children, Edward J. Morris Jr. and his wife Ginger of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, a daughter, Constance Ann Fiori, of Raleigh, NC, a son, Charles Michael Morris and his wife Suzie of Franklinton, NC, and a daughter Lynn Ann Clark and her husband Tim of Hampden, MA.

Patricia will be missed by her Eleven adored Grandchildren, and her Five Cherished Great Grandchildren: Sarah Morris, Jennifer Greco, Matthew Fiori, Charles Morris Jr., Paul Fiori, Courtney Petrone, Emily Petrone, Edward J. Morris III, Kelli Elizabeth Petrone, John Patrick Morris, and Carmine W. Petrone Jr.

Great Grandchildren: Branden, Madyson, Gianna, Lily-Ann and Austin.

Patricia also leaves her faithful companion “CHOPS”. Patricia loved to go Fishing, Bowling and going to Atlantic City and most of all playing cards with her husband and Family.

The family will be present 6-8 PM Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, Wednesday, August 22 at St Francis of Assisi, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh North Carolina, followed by Christian Burial at Raleigh Memorial Park.
