Paul, such a sweet little boy who grew into a gentle man.  At the age of ten our families became neighbors, and Paul became 'one of the kids'....a special friend of son Gerry, loved by all of us.  It's so heartbreaking to lose Paul, but we trust God and know He has counted our steps and numbered our days.  It was time for Paul to go home.  Too soon, way to soon to our human understanding, so we walk in faith believing God's plan will unfold according to His will.  Our hearts ache for his wonderful parents, beautiful daughter Caroline and all of his supportive loving family. Nothing will fill the void left by this special young man; we pray peace will come and the Lord will wipe away the tears.  So many happy memories to focus on.

It was heartbreaking to hear about the loss of our Uncle Paul. We always looked forward to spending time with him since it was so rare that we got to see him. We remember his visits to our family in California and those times we came to North Carolina. He was never afraid to have fun. Our nearest memory of him would probably be when he decided to buy Joseph the Rock Band video game for his 16th birthday and spent the next few days playing the guitar and belting out rock ballads with all of us.  He always struck us with how easy-going and friendly he was and by how much he loved his daughter. He was just an enjoyable person to be around. We are glad to have known him and we will definitely miss him.

To our family in North Carolina, especially Caroline, we send you our love and best wishes. This is a very difficult time but we know what makes it easier for us is thinking of the wonderful memories we had with him. Know that our thoughts lie with you all and we hope that you obtain strength and comfort and the people around you.

     My earliest memory of Paul is when I heard "Deep River Blues" by Doc Watson while talking on the phone to my best buddy, Keith. I said, "Who's playing that?" Keith said, "That's my kid brother Paul, he's taking guitar lessons." I never could get Paul to play that for me, he was fifteen or sixteen at the time and too shy. I was greatly saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I am very sorry for your loss.

"I grew up with Paul in Maryland until he moved to Raleigh.  After that our families would go camping at John Kerr Lake in NC. It was one of my favorite places to go. I will alway cherish those memories with him. My heart goes out to his family and to all that had the pleasure of knowing him.  I will never forget him."

Paul and I were peers at IBM and later Lenovo. I did not always agree with Paul on technical issues, but I always liked him and we worked well together. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Your whole family is in the prayers of our household.

Uncle Paul was always a wonderful person to be around. I always looked forward to seeing him again and talking to him in person. I was very sad to hear about his passing. I never got to talk to him or meet with him as much as I wanted since we have always lived on the other side of the country, but I always thought about him fondly, with love. My clearest memories of him are when we he came to visit with Caroline when we went to spend time in Myrtle Beach, and most recently when he came to visit us in San Diego. He was a loving father and a great uncle. He was always very generous and fun-loving, an all around good-natured person. I hope that he is at peace now. He will live in my heart to be loved and never forgotten forever.

 I wish I could be with the rest of my family in North Carolina, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all and that I wish you strength and comfort through the hard times.

It was a very sad monment when my daughter Sandy called me to inform me about the passing of Paul. I always remenber him as a young boy and full of energy when I first met hin in 1968, in Derwood MD. He added joy to the Fallon family. I last saw him a few years ago when I visited Sandy and we went out to lunch together. In spirit he was still the young man I knew but had grown up to a fine young man. I know he will be missed and my prayers go out to him and Jack and Carol.

I am very saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I met Paul in early 1982, when my family moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Cagnes Sur Mer, France after my father took a job transfer to IBM's office in LaGuade. It was lucky for me that Paul was not only close in age and a neighbor in our apartment building, but that he was also a guitar player. We spent a lot of time pouring over the music of Neil Young, the Who and the Rolling Stones, learning chord changes and guitar riffs. I'll always remember him as being a really fun guy who was instrumental in showing me the ropes of being an American teenager overseas. My condolences go out to his family.

I am so sad that Paul is no longer with us. Please know that I am keeping the whole family in my thoughts and prayers and I am praying for strength. I have such fond memories of hanging out with Paul and the other neighborhood kids in Mill Creek Towne in Derwood, Md, camping with Paul with our families in Myrtle Beach at The Ponderosa Campground and reconnecting with him as an adult.  He and Caroline visited us when we first moved to Myrtle Beach.  He brought his precious Caroline and we all went and played at the beach for an afternoon.  I was lucky to recently have talked with him a couple of months ago.  We had talked about getting together.  Paul had a very quick wit and fetching personality.  He reminded me a lot of his father. Bryan and I are so saddened by his passing and will miss him.

Paul & I grew up together and shared some great childhood memories.  Playing at the creek, riding skateboards around Oak Park and any other mischief we could find.
