Paul W. Williams, 71, died unexpectedly at home of natural causes on January 29, 2025. He is survived by his dog, Tucker, and sisters, Joanne W. Allen and Linda W. Rogers (Ron). His memory lives on through his niece Janice Patton (Jeff), nephew, Tripp Rogers (Cassie) of Raleigh, niece Allison Rogers (Spencer) of Durham, great-niece Audrey Patton and great-niece Penny Rogers. He was predeceased by his father, Charles D. Williams and mother, Elizabeth R. Williams.
Paul was born and raised in Raleigh. After graduating from Campbell College, Paul moved to the Fuquay area and worked at Brandt Industries' nearby manufacturing facility. Paul remained with Brandt for many years. However, his roots were too established to relocate when Brandt moved to Texas. Paul later worked locally as a medical equipment technician for ForTex.
Paul was a kind and gentle person with a good-natured sense of humor. He enjoyed travel, friends and private aviation, especially when the three could be combined. Many fondly recall those experiences, whether a one-hour flight circling the Triple W Airport or a distant multi-day odyssey.
Paul loved his friends, family, neighbors, community and God. He will be missed by all. A service will be held at Raleigh's Historic Oakwood Cemetery on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
