Pierre-Louis was born in Lyon, France, where he grew up and received an education filled with love, values, and ambition. From an early age, he displayed an insatiable curiosity about the world around him. Introduced to football by his parents, Jérôme and Florence de Mourgues, he developed a passion for the sport, but also for travel and discovering new cultures. These experiences enriched his worldview and shaped his open, determined character.
The third child in a close-knit family, he grew up surrounded by his two older sisters, Sixtine and Marjolaine, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. Together, they navigated moments of joy and sorrow, including the loss of their mother when Pierre-Louis was just 17, after a courageous seven-year battle with breast cancer. This difficult trial only strengthened Pierre-Louis’ resilience and determination. Despite this immense loss, he managed to maintain an exemplary strength and courage.
As a teenager, Pierre-Louis revealed his unique character. His post-high school years further showcased his many qualities: Pierre-Louis was a vibrant, inspiring, and motivated young man. He was a natural leader, appreciated by all for his ability to motivate and encourage others. His humor and enthusiasm were contagious. His boundless ambition and competitive spirit made him someone always ready to face any challenge.
Pierre-Louis was a young man with great depth, dreams, and aspirations. His life, though short, was an inspiration to all who knew him. He made an impact with his generosity, kindness, and integrity. His memory will live on through his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Although his departure leaves an immense void, we will always remember Pierre-Louis with love, respect, and gratitude for the exceptional person he was. He will remain forever in our hearts.
