Bob (Robert Kelly) proudly served his country for six years in the United States Marine Corps. He also served for 20 years on the Sharon Hill Fire Department in Pennsylvania, retiring as Fire Chief. Bob retired from General Mills as the director of MIS. Bob and Linda went on to own R & L Travel, located in Raleigh. He was also a long time member of Raleigh Country Club.
Bob is survived by his five children, Jackie Perry and her husband Lenny, Barbara Foster and her husband Jay, Bobby Kelly, Kathy Mendez and her husband Ed, and Michael Crouse and his wife Donna; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Lucky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kelly and his parents, Robert and Gertrude Kelly.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, from 10:00 – 11:00am, with services beginning at 11:00am, at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC.
