

Born and raised in Raleigh, he graduated from Athens Drive High School in 1991, and he attended Lees McRae College and NCSU. For many years Rolin worked in home repair and the carpentry business, as well as helping in his family business.
Rolin was a gentle man with a loving spirit. He was always giving to others and helping those in need. He had a great love for the outdoors, particularly boating and fishing. Rolin cared deeply for all animals, especially his beloved companions, Bo and Laddie.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Lesli Stevens Drewry, her husband, Anders of Chevy Chase, MD; his brother, Tyler Day Stevens of Raleigh; and his nieces, Emma Cate and Tallis Drewry of Chevy Chase, MD; including a host of extended family.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2pm at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh. The family is receiving visitors at the home at other times.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rolin’s name to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Lane, Raleigh, NC 27603.
