Ronald Craig Lisk

With heavy hearts, the family of Ronald Craig Lisk is heartbroken to announce the loss of a loving husband and devoted father, a man whose gentle soul touched everyone he met. He peacefully passed away in his sleep after the visitation and tearful goodbyes of his immediate family. He was a family man, a provider, a protector, a builder, an avid boater and fisherman, who enjoyed a beer and joke with his friends. Professionally he was a private business owner as well as a successful industrial salesman.

Ron was a man of quiet strength, kindness, and many talents. He found pleasure in the simple things of life such as working with his hands, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. His passion for woodworking was more than a hobby. It was a true gift. The beauty of his finished pieces reflects his patience, intrinsic expertise, and the way he positively poured his heart into everything he touched.

Whether crafting beloved and incredible wood furniture or repairing something for a neighbor, his hands were always busy creating and giving. His love and caring deeply touched everyone he knew. He enjoyed laughing and being with his friends. He will always be remembered and cherished by those fortunate enough to be touched by his astonishing blinding light.

His greatest pride and joy were his family. He is predeceased by his wife Jerlune ‘Jerrie’ Parker Lisk. He is survived by sons, Bryan and Brandon Lisk of Raleigh and Cary respectively; daughter-in-law, Amy Lisk; sister, Patricia ‘Trish’ Nicholson of Swansboro; a niece, a nephew, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a grandniece. He will forever be loved and missed.

A celebration of his Life was held on February 16th at Mitchell Funeral Home at Raleigh Memorial Park. Friends and family gathered to honor the man who gave so much and asked for so little in return.
