Ronald Anthony Poole, 55, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Born on August 9, 1961 in Raleigh; he was the son of Sophia Poole Hayes and Burt Poole.
Ronnie owned and operated Poole Construction with his late brother William "Billy" Howard Poole. He also loved to cook and could be seen at the grill at many a family function.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother and step-father: Sophia and Richard Hayes, of Garner; father: Burt Poole, of Garner; sister: Zudie Poole, of Garner; nieces and nephews: Crystal and husband Jeff, Dewayne, J.D. and wife Jessica, and Josh; great-nieces and nephews: Kevin, Angela, Amber, Adalynn and Jayden; and by his faithful companion: "Sissy", his longhaired Chihuahua.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 31st from 1-3 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home in Raleigh. Funeral Services will be held at 3 pm in the funeral home chapel with private burial to follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
