Sally was born in Jackson, Michigan, daughter of Delbert and Barbara Ford on September 15, 1931. She married Kent McKnight and had two daughters, Janet Chernoff of Tallahassee, FL and Karen Lynn of Raleigh. Sally was an elementary school teacher. She loved golf, traveling and white Zinfandel at happy hour. Sally was married to Robert Jordan for 33 years. In addition to her daughters and her husband Robert, Sally is survived by three grandchildren; Sean Hayes, Ashlee Mense, and Kevin Lynn, two son in laws; Thomas Lynn and Louis Chernoff, and one grandson in law; Max Mense. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Hayes, her parents, and her brother Robert Ford.
A service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held in the White Memorial Presbyterian Church Chapel, 1704 Oberlin Rd., on May 12, 2023 beginning at 2:00 p.m..
