Sammie Weaver Jacobs, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 18, 1935 in Knoxville, TN to the late Lottie Tillery Weaver and the late William H. Weaver, and was a graduate of Columbia College in Columbia, SC.
Sammie was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Jacobs; brother, William Earle Weaver; sisters, Tommie Robb and Charlotte Brunson. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sheri Jacobs Keasler and Bennett M. Keasler; son Rick Jacobs; granddaughter, Lauren Keasler Bass; grandsons, Andrew Bennett Keasler, Joseph McDuff Keasler, Bennett Mack Keasler, III, Joseph Eric Jacobs, Jr., William Parker Jacobs, and many loving family and friends.
A private cremation service was previously held. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, February 1st, 2014 at Edenton Street United Methodist Church, 228 W. Edenton Street, Raleigh, NC.
