Shirley Howard Howard Carter

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Curtis Carter. She is survived by her son Mike Carter and his wife Linda, of Raleigh; dear grandchildren- John Carter and his wife Allison, Amanda Carter Jacoby and her husband Alexander, Dustin Brown, Courtney Fowler and Kristopher Fowler; and her great grandchildren- Ella Jocelyn Jacoby and Curtis James Carter.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 17, from 3:00–5:00 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh. The funeral service will be held on Saturday August 21, at 2:00 pm, in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, Troy, Alabama. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at the Elam Church Cemetery, Goshen, Alabama.
