I just heard today about Stephanie's passing and am so saddened by this. She, Carolyn and I occasionally went out to dinner to "catch up" after I left the plasma side of the business. She was so proud of her daughters and was such an energetic, fun person to be around. I still can't believe she jumped out of a plane several years ago! 

She will be so missed. My heart goes out to her family.

Stephanie will be greatly missed by Grifols. I enjoyed working with her over the past several years and I appreciated everything she taught the organization about metrics and continuous improvement. My condolences to her family.

When we think of Stephanie we always smile as she was a wonderful upbeat friend.  Pulling corn and shucking it in the back yard was always a highlight of the summer.  She would arrive early and pitch in to help do it all.  At work with Borden in Fayetteville, she was highly respected and well liked.  She will be greatly missed.  Love to you girls.

I have been Stephanie's hairstylist for 20 plus years. I was blessed to have her as a loyal client ( she drove from Raliegh to Fayetteville to get her hair done the past few year. Now that's loyal ). I'll never forget our talks, our laughs, and our cries as I was doing her hair. Most of our talks, laughter and cries Were about her girls Alyssa (Bean) and Suzanne (Shorty). This I know for sure she loved her girls and was so proud of both of them. Stephanie was more than a client to me. She was a Friend. I have to say God got him One Hell of an Angle. I'll miss you Steph

I attended Capital University with Stephanie where we good friends. We had some wonderful adventures together and so much fun. I am so sad to learn of her passing. My sympathies to her entire family, especially her girls.

What great times we had as neighbors. Watching Alyssa and Suzanne grow into  beautiful, smart and talented ladies  speaks volumes about Stephanie.  A loving, devoted and fun mother and friend. She will be missed.

Stephanie and I met in our early 20's when she married my step-brother John. I remember Steph as being one of the coolest and most fun women I knew, with so many varied interests, and she was so smart. We lived near each other for a while when we were young newlyweds, and then we had our first children within months of each other. It was obvious that Stephanie loved being a mom, and she loved Alyssa and Suzanne, and their friends, with all her heart. You girls are the most shining legacy she could possibly leave, and I pray that you'll always feel her watching over you. You are in our thoughts and prayers, and we love you both.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  Please extend my condolences to your entire family.  I went to High School with Stephanie and spent time with her and her family a lot during those  high school  years!  Her family(parents & brothers & sister) was so nice to me and lots of fun to be around.  She was in my wedding.  We sorta lost touch with each other as our lives took us in different directions, but I will always consider her a good friend.  She was a great person. You have my sympathy in your loss.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother.  Stephanie was a kind person who was hard-working, committed, and generous with her time and expertise.  She touched the lives of many people, and her work made a positive impact on the organization.  It was readily apparent to anyone that met her that she was devoted to her family and so very proud of her daughters.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

The loss of Stephanie has touched me deeply.  I was blessed with the opportunity to work with her through the Academy and observe her dedication to the tasks she endeavored.  When she spoke of her girls, her smile would light up her bright blue eyes and her pride and love for them both became immediately apparent.  She will be missed deeply and dearly remembered.

Stephanie and I went to grade school together in Dayton and we were able to reconnect thanks to facebook. I loved hearing all about her wonderful daughters and how proud she was of them. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Suzanne and Alyssa - I am so sorry for your loss. Stephanie loved the two of you more than anything else in the world. When you were little, she would talk about how amazed she was that God had given her such special little people to share her life with. You were her pride and joy as well as her strength and purpose. She was a good person and will be missed by many. You are in my prayers.

My thoughts with Stephanie and her family. I had the opportunity to meet her some time ago and I was impressed by her strenght and methodology at work. Her work was outstanding and I always admired it. She has made us better every day. She was an excellent colleague. We will certainly miss her.

Our thoughts and prayer are with Suzanne and Alyssa during the loss of their mother.  Stephanie loved her girls very much and she will be missed by her family and friends.

I had not seen my first cousin for many years and remember Alyssa and Suzanne as little girls.  Stephanie and I had exchanged several emails over the last two years.  I enjoyed exchanging updates about the children.  I guess with mothers, it's always about the kids.  My prayers are with all of you as you face some difficult times.  Please take comfort in God's love.

I've known and worked with Stephanie for the past 7 years. Whenever we would see each other she would always call me by my first name (Richard) in a French accent "Good Morning Ree-shard". This always brought a smile to my face.

While I was not close with Stephanie, I can say with confidence that she was an incredible woman. I know this because of my time spent with Alyssa and Suzanne as their soccer coach at FTS. Anyone who had a hand in raising these two amazing girls can only be absolutely fantastic. The amount of leadership, joy, and poise they both put forth and still do in all their actions is a direct reflection of an astonishing mother. Suzanne and Alyssa, my heart and many prayers go out to your family during this time. My hope is that you can find comfort in the fact that, while your Mom may have left sooner than expected, the time you shared when she was here was great, and her character and charisma will continue to shine through you both.

Around twenty years ago, I met Stephanie Ploeger when I first taught Alyssa and then Suzanne, her precious daughters.  She was such a great parent, mother and supporter of education at Ashley Elementary. It shows in the fine young women they have become, one being a teacher and the other a physician.   It has been a shock to learn of her untimely death, but I gain peace in knowing that her girls are going to be OK and her beloved pastor from those Fayetteville days will be the minister for Sunday's service.

Didn't know her well, but did have the pleasure of working with her on occasion. She always had a smile and a hello every time we crossed paths. Thoughts and prayers are out to the family.

My heart goes out to Stephanie's family for the loss of your beloved. My prayer is that you feel surrounded by love during this very difficult time.

Stephanie was not just a colleague, but a friend. She was kind and generous, down-to-earth and straightforward. I believe that anyone who knew her would agree that you always knew where she stood. 

Stephanie was immensely proud of Alyssa and Suzanne, and she talked about them with all of us daily, keeping us abreast of whatever was going on in their lives -- their relationships, their accomplishments, their achievements, and all the amusing and complex events that they shared with their mom. They must have been equally proud of Stephanie's independence and inventiveness.

To me, the most memorable quality Stephanie displayed was a wry, ironic sense of humor. Hers was a deep chuckle that surfaced frequently, when the idiosyncrasies of work and life struck her in a certain way. We shared many a laugh over mutual amusing memories, some recent and some long ago. 

Her generosity extended to sharing her broad knowledge of cooking and canning. She loved to talk about weekends when she preserved what arrived from the Produce Box. It was fascinating to hear her talk about what came on a given week, and how she planned to use it, sounding almost like a kid on Christmas. Stephanie and I shared German ethnic background, and she embraced traditional German cooking. We talked often about the things we learned from our respecitve grandmothers, and she brought me homemade cabbage rolls, lovingly made the old-fashioned, labor-intensive way – a huge treat.

I will miss her laugh, her smile, her dry wit, her unaffected, understated personal style, her leadership and support, and her warmth.

I worked with Stephanie for the past 6 years.  I will always remember her for her generous heart and great sense of humor.  She was always willing to share her time, talent, treasures with those around her.  I pray that she is now with the God of all heaven and earth.  Please accept my condolences.

I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie for the last 7 years.  When we worked in the same building, I loved our daily talks and all of the stories of her 2 beautiful daughters.  She was so proud.

It is with a very heavy heart that I send my condolences to the family of Stephanie Ploeger.  Stephanie changed my life when she hired me in 1992 & I joined my Borden Chemical family.  She was my mentor and an incredible role model.  I will miss her.
