Theresa S. Demlein, 89, peacefully passed away on August 24, 2010 at Rex Rehab and Nursing Care Center in Raleigh, NC. She was born on February 19, 1921 in Queens, New York, to her parents Franz Sturm and Emily Portner Sturm.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Kathleen Varnhold and her husband Manfred, Janet Smith and Barbara Demlein; her son Laurence F. Demlein and his wife Ann. She will also be missed by her grandchildren- Laurence F. Demlein Jr. and his wife Joann, Lauren K. Varnhold, Austin M. Varnhold, Michael Ann Smith, Bernard J. Murphy. Theresa was predeceased by her sister Emily Sturm and her brother Frank E. Sturm Jr.
The funeral mass will be held on Thursday September 9, 2010 at 9:30 am at The Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart, Yonkers, New York. The graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.
