Troy worked for many years as a Refrigeration Installer for Morris and Associate Commercial Refrigeration. He enjoyed golf and was an avid sports fan. Troy enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs, and had a passion for automobiles.
He was predeceased by his wife Geraldine “Gerry” Whaley and his siblings: Walter, Charlie Jr, Harold, G.T., and Evelyn.
Troy leaves behind his daughter Linda Moore (Robert) and grandson Christopher Moore (Sherryl) and great grandchildren: Makayla, Makenzie , Zachary, Ian and Tristan.
A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Sunday January 4, 2015 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 Saint Mary’s St., Raleigh. A funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday January 5, 2015 at Carolina Pines Baptist Church, 2655 South Saunders St., Raleigh. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
