Victor was born on September 14, 1931, in North Bergen, New Jersey, to the late Emilio and Clara Gianotti. He attended Holy Family High School and later joined the U.S. Navy, serving honorably during the Korean War.
Victor worked as a plant manager in the printing industry, holding positions in Michigan, Georgia, Arizona, and New Jersey. He was involved in printing invitations and other materials for the White House for many years—work he took great pride in.
He retired in Raleigh 31 years ago. Upon moving to Raleigh, Victor joined Christ Episcopal Church, where he remained a devoted member.
In addition to his brother-in-law, John Sartori, Victor is survived by his niece, Marianne Bremen, and her husband Bill of Raleigh, NC; his nephew John Sartori Jr. and his wife Nancy of Raleigh, NC; Donna Sartori, the widow of his late nephew Robert Sartori, of New Jersey; and his great-nephews John Owen and his wife Elizabeth, of Leland NC Anthony Owen and his wife Alexandra of Oklahoma City, OK Andrew Sartori of Raleigh NC and Robert Sartori of New Jersey.
He is also survived by his great-nieces Nicole Owen of Raleigh NC, Christina Cross and her husband Jayke of Ohio, Emily Anderson and her husband Connor of Raleigh NC and Sarah Sartori of New Jersey Victor is additionally survived by three great-great-nieces: Kaylee, Adelyn, and Olivia Owen, all of North Carolina.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Emilio Gianotti; his brothers, including Louis Gianotti; his sister Tina Sartori; and his nephew Robert Sartori.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 24th at 11:00 am at Christ Episcopal Church 120 E Edenton St, Raleigh, NC 27601. Burial will be prior to the service at Raleigh Memorial Park.
