Yuzhou Bao

Yuzhou was a man who loved life. He worked as a Chief Engineer in the Automotive Industry. His family describes him as gentle, generous, and patient. He was adventurous and a life-long learner;he loved reading and learning about other cultures through his travels with his wife, Yue Mei. He also enjoyed going on walks to fulfill his love of nature. He is also known to those who loved him as a fighter. During his battle with cancer, he bravely approached each day with strength and positivity that made those around him admire him even more. He loved his family with all his heart and trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lu Yun Bao and Ru Yi Ding.

He is survived by his loving wife, Yue Mei Wang; daughters, Haijing “Jane” Bao of Scotland, Haiyin“May” Bao Alossi (Mike) of Cary, NC, and Haiping Bao of China; and his grandson, James Gray, with whom he was very close.

A funeral service was held in the Chapel at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC, 27612, on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
