Albert was born to Coy and Neva Smith in Amore, W.VA. on July 4, 1937.
Albert was a supervisor for the Ohio Department of Transportation, retiring after 33 years of service. He liked cars and trucks and loved to wheel and deal in used cars. He also enjoyed attending estate sales but most of all he was committed to taking care of his parents.
Albert is survived by his brothers: Roger (Terrie) Smith and Alvin (Arlene) Smith, and his sister, Barbara (Clinton) Parsons. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, “Junior” and Ruth Stevens. He also leaves several loving nieces and nephews.
Albert was preceded in death by parents.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 from 12:00 P.M. until the 1:00 P.M. funeral service at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, with Reverend Virgil Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
