

She was born January 13, 1941, in Webster Springs, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Rado and Lucy (Miles) Carpenter. Alice was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She enjoyed tending her flower gardens, but family was always the focal point in her life. Alice cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years Flymn Tracy; children: Stephen (Ruth) Tracy, Cindy (Bob) Pittman, and Melissa (Jimmy) Tracy; grandchildren: Stevie Kalcic, Matthew Kalcic, Zac Tracy, Allison Lowe, Tyler Ramey, and Clay Asbury; great-grandchildren: Hannah Boles, and Matthew Kalcic Jr.; and her brothers and sisters: Pat Carpenter, Shirley (Delmas) Rice, Gordon (Nella) Carpenter, Golden (Dorothy) Carpenter, Richard Carpenter, Argil Carpenter, Cathy (Tom) Rose, and Arnold (Sherri) Carpenter; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family including her loving mother-in-law Local Tracy. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her son Doug Tracy.
Friends will be received Thursday, February 16, 2012, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph.
