Bailey Christine Simons

She was born January 19, 1998, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Daniel “Duke” Frank and Hope L. Simons. Bailey was a junior at Rootstown High School and a member of the cheerleading team. She enjoyed gymnastics since she was a little girl, and “Miss Bailey” was currently a coach for Top Floor Gymnastics.

Bailey enjoyed the outdoors and loved life. She will be remembered for her magnetic outgoing personality, bright blue eyes, and beautiful smile. Bailey was always willing to put other people’s needs ahead of her own.

She is survived by her father and step mother: “Duke” (Pamela J.) Frank; her mother and step-father: Hope (Dan Vair) Simons; and her brother Zander Frank. Bailey’s memory will also be cherished by her grandparents: Daniel W. and Pamela S. Frank, Cindy and Joe Ruyten, and Ronnie “Byrd” Simons; her aunt: Shawnna (Jay) Mentzer; her uncle: T.J. Zingale; and her cousins: Natalie Zingale, Landon and Avery Mentzer; as well as many other loving family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Scott Hindel and Pastor Jason Moore at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Rootstown High School Gymnasium, 4140 State Route 44, Rootstown, OH 44272, with a time of fellowship to follow until 5:00 PM. The doors will open to the public at 2:00 PM.
