Bethann Marie Carter

She was born July 31, 1971, in Akron, Ohio. Bethann is survived by her parents William and Rebecca Carter of Randolph, sister and brother-in-law Bonnie and Jim Miller of Marlboro, nephew Jesse Miller, former husband Todd Pritt of Canton, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by her fur baby, Miss Princess Penelope.

Bethann graduated from Waterloo High School in 1989, and later from Stark State College and Malone University. She worked for the Hoover Company in Canton, being promoted all the way to Project Engineer. Bethann moved for a while to El Paso, Texas, working in both the El Paso and Juarez Mexico plants until returning to the area in 2009.

Bethann was an active member of the Randolph United Methodist Church where she volunteered in many capacities. She was sponsored by the church to attend the East Ohio Emmanuel Emmaus Walk #89, which forged many lifelong friendships. She was also a member of the Randolph Ladies Cemetery Association and the Randolph Garden Club.

Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a memorial service officiated by Pastor Phil Hoverstock at 11:00 AM at the Randolph United Methodist Church, 4078 Waterloo Rd.
