She was born May 13, 1934, in Akron, a daughter of the late Victor and Helen (Nelson) Mitchell. Betty was a Registered Nurse, and worked for many years at PPG in Barberton.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Jack and Carole Mitchell of Cambridge, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother Victor Mitchell.
Betty’s wishes for a private service are being honored, and burial will take place at Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.wood-kortright-borkoski.com.
