Betty Louise House Wonn

She was born August 23, 1925, in Brimfield, Ohio, to parents Herman and Esther E. (Marshall) House. Betty was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She loved the outdoors, and will be remembered as a strong and caring woman. Betty was a faithful member of the Rootstown United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughters: Becky (Fred) Totts of Randolph, Bonnie Wonn of Rootstown, and Carrie (Tom) Hempel of West Chester, Ohio. Betty’s memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: LeAnna (Arash) Ghahremani, Joseph Totts, Timothy Hempel, and Nicholas Hempel, as well as her great-grandchildren: Shaheen and Sheyda Ghahremani.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years Howard Wonn, and her brothers Pat and Melvin House.

Friends will be received Monday, October 20, 2014, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Friends may also call on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral service officiated by Reverend Jared Williams at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Charlestown Cemetery.
