Faith and family were always paramount in Bryan’s life. He was a member of Five39 Church in Akron, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather.
Bryan is survived by his beloved wife Linda (Emerick), who he married July 21, 1990. Also surviving are his children: Rachel (Adam) Gilger, Jonathan (Claudia) Hort, and Anna Hort. Papa’s memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren: Aiden, Owen, and Grace Gilger, and Elliot, Dominic, and Daniel Hort.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Sanders on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
