

Born May 30, 1926, in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Rocco and Frances (LaFatch) Polichena. She and her 10 siblings were raised on a farm in Ravenna. Dolly was known for her warmth and kindness and her unwavering Faith in God.
She was a devoted wife to her late husband Rosario D’Agostino, whom she married on January 29,1953. A loving Mother to her two children, Rosalind (Kenneth) Shaw and Joseph D’Agostino. Dolly was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family. She was an incredible cook and known for her meals that brought family and dear friends together. She was a loving second mother, helping to raise her niece and nephew, Chris (Ray) Polichena and David (Nelly) Polichena. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Dolly is survived by her two children, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, her ex-daughter-in-law Nichol D’Agostino, her brother Frank (Jane) Polichena, sister-in-laws Becky Polichena, Anna Selvaggio & Frances D’Agostino and many nieces and nephews.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sisters Elizabeth (Phillip) DeAngelis and Frances Hutchinson. Brothers Nicholas, Joseph (Nellie), James, Tony, Rocco Jr., Russell, and Leonard (Delores) Polichena.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St. Stuart, Florida 34997 or Catholic Charities of Portage County, 219 West Main St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266.

Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Rev. William Kraynak, will be held at 11am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Church, 409 W. Main St., Ravenna, Ohio. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
