Carol A. Lukacs

She was born January 10, 1956, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Lynn A. and Elnora Jean (Rhinehart) Brugmann. Carol graduated from Crestwood High School and was a member of the Ravenna VFW and Ravenna Eagles. She worked for over 50 years at Longmeadow Care Center as a nurse’s aide and later in housekeeping. Carol was a devoted homemaker and mother, who also loved her little dogs.

Carol is survived by her son Dustin Lukacs, her step-daughter Jackie Lukacs, her grandchildren: Justina, Damon, Kayla Ann, Andrew, Christena, Becki, Faleasha, and Samantha. She also leaves behind her siblings: Lee (Karen) Brugmann, Andrew (Karen) Brugmann and Christine Brugmann.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Lukacs, and her son William Lukacs.

Her wishes for cremation are being honored. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM to celebrate her life at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
