Cathy Sue Malmfeldt

Cathy was born July 19, 1953 in Youngstown to the late Howard and Mary Jane Long. She was a 1972 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. Cathy has worked for Robinson Memorial and later UH Portage as a clerical technician for over 33 years. Cathy was actively involved in many different American Cancer Society programs including the Relay for Life and Look Good Feel Better. Cathy enjoyed music, going to concerts with friends and family, spending time with family and her "million dollar" front porch lake view watching the sunset. Cathy was the nicest person you could meet. She was genuine and was always taking care of others. Her grandchildren and great-grandson were paramount in her life. Cathy's motto in life- "Let the Music Play" while you dance under the stars.

Besides her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ron Malmfeldt.

Cathy is survived by her daughter Kelly Sites (Fiancée Sherm Archer), her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Samantha Malmfeldt; her granddaughters, Kayla (Brennen) Morrison and Lola Malmfeldt, her grandson Landon Malmfeldt, and her great-grandson Miles Morrison. She also leaves her sister Beth (Paul Magada) Johnson; her brothers Robert (Linda) Long and James (Maureen) Long; and several nieces, nephews and many good friends.

Friends may call 5-8 PM Friday, December 1st at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St. in Ravenna. Private interment in Eckis Cemetery.
