He was born December 23, 1959, in Garfield Heights, Ohio, to parents Charles and Grace (Duke) Sago. Chuck graduated from Nordonia High School in 1978 and was a machinist by trade.
Chuck was a caring person who volunteered with Rose’s Rescue. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Streetsboro, and was an avid Cleveland sports fan, especially the Browns. Chuck loved cars and owned several Corvettes and custom vans. In his younger years, he was a member of a Van Club. He also loved listening to classic rock.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sisters: Lisa (Bob) Hervieux, Jennifer (William) Johnston, Deborah Wittrup, and Stephanie (Dominic) Aloi, as well as his nieces and nephews: Ryan (Brooke), Kelsey (Murry), Clayton (Hannah), Erick, Brandon, and John, along with his constant companion, Bear.
Chucks wishes for cremation are being honored. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life on Friday, June 4, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
