Christian Erina LaRue

Christian was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania on January 25 1962 to parents Harry and Glenda Richards. She had been employed as a press operator until being injured and retired. Rue enjoyed taking pictures of nature, walking, bird watching and reading. She loved her cats, fish and “Albert” her dog. She always took care of animals in need. Rue loved to make people laugh and was a fun loving, happy, outgoing person. She loved crafting with her grandkids.

Rue is survived by her daughter Erin (Craig Porter) and her son Jason Eby. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Tyler Ernst, Rylie, Dublin & Colin Porter, Adam Jewitt, Jason Eby Jr. and Isaiah Eby. Christian also leaves her husband Steve Allen, her father Harry Richards, step-children: Sean (Julie) Allen, Katie Allen and Stephanie Allen and her siblings: Glenn (Terri) Palmer, Sonny (Julie) Richards, Art Richards, Linda (Kip) Visher and Kennita Admire.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Family will receive friends at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 12:00PM until the 1:00PM memorial service. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Deerfield Cemetery.
