Christopher Gerald Wheeler

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carlyle and Malinda Wheeler and Frank and Rosella Kubenik, as well as his beloved niece Heather Marie Gang.

Chris is survived by his parents Ray and Jackie Wheeler, as well as his only brother Richard “Rich” Wheeler. He is also survived by his loving daughters Carie Lynn Wheeler and Josephine “Josey” Rae Wheeler, and his adored grandson Liam Tran, along with his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Chris was a 1984 graduate of Southeast High School and was employed by the K Company in Akron as a HVAC technician. Chris loved hunting, fishing, playing baseball and football, cooking and grilling, and coaching his daughter’s softball team. Chris was known for his big, loving heart and how he would do anything for anyone. Chris always had a smile and a handshake no matter what he was going through, and had a way of making you feel good when you were with him.

Friends and family will be received Monday, June 25, 2018, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM with a memorial service following at 5:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
