

She was born February 5, 1931, in Artie, West Virginia, a daughter of the late William and Frances Belle (Bearfield) Walker. Toddy was a devoted wife and loving mother, who always cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Santos Salgado; her children: Gregory (Caroline) Salgado of Rootstown, Mark (Tami) Salgado of Champion, and Sandra Salgado of Ravenna; siblings: Elmond (Ellen) Walker of W.Va., Denver (Ginger) Walker of Indiana, Doug (Linda) Walker of Tennessee, Buford (Pam) Davis of W.Va., Betty Wiley of Ravenna, and Kay (Jim) Marlo of N.C.; also survived by her grandchildren: Mark Salgado II, Nicci Salgado, Gregory J. Salgado, Aimee Salgado, Briana Salgado, Robert Stacel Jr., Matthew Stacel, Rachelle Stacel, Michael Stacel, and Christina Stacel; and her great-grandchildren: Dominick, Elijah, Nathan, and Mason.
She was preceded in death by her sons Santos and John Salgado, brothers Ed “Whiskers” Davis, John Davis, and William “Shorty” Walker, and sisters Frances “Billie” Coffman, Jewel Miller, and Elois “Sissy” Copeland.
Friends will be received Friday, November 26, 2010, from 5-7 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be officiated by Reverend Jack Taylor on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
