David Leroy "Ike" Eisenbraun

David was born on July 5, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio to parents Wilfred Louis and Mary Agnes Eisenbraun. He graduated from Struthers High School with the class of 1966. He was drafted and served in the Special Forces as a medic in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War conflict. David “Ike” was retired from Dominion East Ohio Gas Company after 32 years of service working as a pipeline inspector and union rep. After retirement he worked in sales at Whites Farm Supply in Atwater doing his favorite job…working with wonderful people.

David leaves the love of his life Patricia Harkins Eisenbraun whom he’d been married to for 48 years. Surviving also are his children: Amy (Ron) Coleman, Eric Eisenbraun, Megan (Eric) Warnick and the Pride and Joy of his life, his grandchildren: Miranda, Monica, Macie, Travis, Courtney, Marissa, Garet, Colton and Andrew. David also leaves many loving nieces and nephews, brother Tom (Linda) Eisenbraun, sister Janet Root and sisters-in-laws: Kaye (Larry) Smith, Penny Harkins, Karen Almburg, Cathy (Jim) Conroy, Mary Anne (Terry) McCarthy and Sharon Harkins.

He was preceded in death by his brother Bud Eisenbraun, nephew Matt Root, his parents, Patricia’s parents, his brother-in-law William Root and sister-in-law Candy Grace.

Cremation has taken place and friends will be received to celebrate David’s life on Sunday, March 5, 2017, from 2:00pm -4:00pm at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Rev. Thomas Acker, will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 6, at St. Joseph Church, 2643 Waterloo Rd, Mogadore, OH 44260.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions be made in care of Patricia Eisenbraun.

David’s family would like to extend their thanks to UH Hospice for everything they did for David.
